Wickens 5-a-side Football

Yesterday saw the second Wickens 5-a-side football match at Perdiswell. Despite the rain spirits remained high and all limbs in tact. Much fun was had by all and the standard relatively high even if the fitness was not! Stephen Knowles won the Wickens Trophy for an appauling attempt at a bicycle kick which resulted in him landing in a heap and play having to be stopped. He was suitably ashamed to receive his award, as the picture shows.
